The term Catholic identifies the followers of Roman Catholic Church which is governed by the Bishop of Rome also known as Pope. Being called as Pope, the Bishop of Rome has the jurisdiction on all the Christians in the world which is most of the times rejected by Non Roman Catholics to classify themselves as the owners of the traditions of the Jesus Christ. Roman Catholic is based on the notion of St. Peter who according to the Catholics acquired special power from Jesus as it stated in various religious books.
Roman Catholics are in majority in the Christian religions and most of the times follow their religion in the light of the preaching that has been done by St. Peter because of the role given to him by Jesus Christ. I belonged to a Roman Catholic family which was less moderately strict in the moral and characterization according to the traditions that have been laid upon them.
Being a Catholic, I was raised with the religious traditions. I was a part of early home schooling according to the traditions of Catholic religion. Catholic home schooling is not just the education, it the way of life which described me the various statures of life from very start so that I should always know what my values are and how I should treat others with the education I have attained. I was educated by my mother who was self motivated house wife and a strict follower of Catholic Church, so it became imperative on me to inherit all the education and belief structure from her. She taught me on what are the four main pillars of Catholic Church. These were one, holy, catholic and apostolic. They referred to four aspects that are basis of a true Catholic Church. These are unity, sanctity, catholicity and apostolicity. Knowing all this information made me realized the most important facts about my religion and provided me with the facility to work my life with these issues in mind. The unity provided me to realize that the oneness of the Church is very important aspect. We as Catholics have to follow all the rules that are made by our Prophet which is overseen by our Pope. Being sanctity meant that we as Catholic are holy. This religion is given to us by our Prophet from god who is great and makes us superior in the context of the originality and education. Catholicity meant that we all open to all the races and all kinds of people. This made me believe that the color and race are not the way to get discrimination between people. We should only see all the Catholics as the same who are our brothers. Apostolic meant that we are following the Christ in a way if we follow Pope. We can follow succession of Church right towards the Christ. These all things at the start of my life changed my life forever in the coming days. Knowing all the basics of Catholic Church made me realized the true meaning of me in the world
